This past week was beyond crazy. I traveled up to the NC mountains to photograph a dear friends’ wedding on Friday, and reception on Saturday in GA. And visited with family in the area in the mean time. I had to stop my self several times while traveling from pulling over to take photos of the mountain terrain and changing leaves. Well…I did stop one time going up one mountain and took a picture, but it was more so that I could catch my breath after driving on some insanely curvy and steep roads. Ack!
This was also the first trip I’ve taken where I’ve been away from my girl for the night. The going away was rough, but the reunion was sweet. She and my man joined the Saturday reception festivities, and while I was on photo duty, I put the big gun down when we took a trip out into the cow pasture to check out my friends’ longhorns, and only carried my phone. The light was amazing as the sun was setting and filtering through the trees. I glanced over at my girl, who was completely in awe of the massive longhorns, and grabbed this shot – all sweet, soft, and dreamy…
Once I manage to wrangle all the wedding photos, I will be sharing some of those here. The wedding was a beautiful gathering, and I had a fun time with old and new friends!
