I planted this blue girl rose some 13 years ago. It will send off a blossom or two a couple times a year, it’s never had a major show of blooms. But I love it, the scent is heavenly and it is the most perfect shade of lavender.
Currently it is shrouded by lots of our landlords junk where it is in our yard, so I haven’t been paying the poor plant too much attention. Bad plant mommy. But I was out back playing with my girl one afternoon and happened to glance over and see a little bloom of lavender and I was so excited! So of course I picked it and brought it inside so that I could enjoy her glorious scent.
I think a transplant my be in order for my rose this year…
